A batbox needs to have certain criteria, such as narrow crevices for them to crawl into, and a rough or screened interior for them to hold onto. All of our bat houses for sale are open at the bottom so there is no need for cleaning. A bat house should be hung at least 10 to 15 feet above ground, sheltered away from the wind.
