Designed by Frank Zuern to be a safer nesting place for Eastern Bluebirds, this horizontal bluebird box simulates a hollow tree branch, widely used by these favorite birds. Over 90% nest near the back of the bluebird nest box, behind a vertical baffle, out of the reach of predators. Field-testing shows high acceptance and high survival rates for bluebirds.
